Start from scratch, explore an everyday look or practise something for prom. We’ll work at her pace, with guidance tailored to her age, features and style.

I want girls to feel comfortable with little or no makeup, too. This is about enjoying makeup and gaining skills, while still feeling like themselves.

The teen-and-mum lesson is a relaxed shared experience where mum can learn too. It’s a lovely option if your daughter would feel more comfortable with you, or you’d both enjoy refreshing your skills.

Lessons take place at my Harrogate home studio in North Yorkshire, by appointment. There’s unrestricted on-street parking, and it’s around a ten-minute walk from the town centre and station.

Are these lessons suitable for beginners?
Yes. No experience is needed. We’ll start with the basics and build at a pace that feels comfortable.
What age are teen lessons suitable for?
The lesson is adapted to each teenager’s age, experience and interests. If you’re unsure whether it’s right for your daughter, ask me before booking.
Can mum come too?
The teen-and-mum lesson is designed for you to learn together. If you’d like to accompany your daughter while the lesson focuses on her, please mention this when enquiring so we can choose the right appointment.
Does she need her own makeup?
No. If she already has makeup, bring it along so we can see what’s useful and how to use it. There’s no need to shop beforehand.
Can we focus on a prom look?
Yes. We can practise a look for prom or another occasion, tailored to her preferences. This is a lesson in doing her own makeup; for makeup application on the day, enquire separately.
Can I give a lesson as a gift?
